Onto the Weekend and the Grand Final brought out the best in Thomas Quinlan Jnr – screeching home in an amazing 46pts following up last week’s qualifying victory with continued great scoring. Congrats Thomas and enjoy the GPS Caddycar – one to watch going forward.

Coming home in second was Noel Finn with an excellent 44pts – great shooting and a winning score on any other day – well done Noel – new Epic Flash driver for the bag.

Gross was claimed by the ever-consistent Peter Meaney with 36 gross points. Some new golf gear to model for you Peter.

Third was Trevor Melbourne with 41pts (sneaking in on a countback) – Callaway Tour bag for Trevor to take on tour with him.

Fourth was Jim Davis with 41pts – taking home the waterproof bag – good timing.

Fifth was Eoin Carey with 40pts – Eoin gets a GPS Watch. Sixth was Adrian Lonergan with 39pts claiming a new pair of golf shoes. Seventh was Tony O’Sullivan with 37pts taking away a box of Chrome Soft. Well done to all and congratulations.

Special thanks to the hard-working green keeping staff for presenting the course so well following testing weather conditions in the last week. Also, great praise is deserved for the bar and catering team for providing all competitors with a mighty feed after their round.

The weekend also provided an open singles run Friday Saturday and Sunday – winning with 39pts was Tim O Donoghue – well done Tim. Second with 37pts was Tony O’Sullivan. Third was Kevin Condon with 34pts and Gross was claimed by Paul Eivers with 33 gross points. Well done to all competitors.
