The Bridge

Rain dominated conversations again this week. Any opportunity to play the Front Nine Holes was availed of. Course Staff cut Rough and Fairways when possible, swept the Greens daily, and managed Driving Range facilities to enable all Golf enthusiasts enjoy a good swing and the coveted long-distance achievement.

New Distance Markers will be in place this week to enhance the Range facility.

Ned Grant & Sons Building Contractors were not deterred by poor weather and undertook the mammoth task of replacing all the timber planks on the Bridge, the only crossing for all Golfers over the River Suir. A superb new crossing awaits us when the Back Nine Holes reopen, hopefully very soon. Thank you to the Grant Family and Staff.
