Halloween is coming!
Monday 31st October is going to be a special day of golf for Bella Healy, Junior member and her family. Bella is raising funds for the Hope Foundation as she is travelling to Kolcatta, India in February, 2023 to work with children living on streets and in slum areas.
The fundraising competition is Open to Visitors and all Club Members. Team of 3, 18 Hole Champagne Scramble. Prize for All Ladies Team, Mixed Team and All Men’s Team, Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive. Handicap Index Men 24, Ladies 36. A great cause and very worthy of support from all Club Members and friends.
Members Meeting
A members meeting will take place on Thursday night, 27th October at 8pm in Clubhouse to learn about and discuss the ‘One Club Model’ Framework which is supported by Golf Ireland. We welcome Mr. Neil Kilgallon, Development and Club Support Officer, Golf Ireland to Cahir Park on Thursday evening.
Ladies
Ladies Halloween fun day on Thursday 27th October is fancy dress and 12 Hole Scramble with Shotgun start at 11am. Please be at Clubhouse for 10.30am. The Competition is kindly sponsored by O’Donnell’s, Woodview Service Station, Cahir. Draw for playing partners on Tuesday 25th.

Mens Golfer Of The Year
Congratulations to Paul Keating who secured the 2022 mens Golfer of the year. Paul showed consistency over the course of the year with the golfer of the year competition played over 12 rounds including all the major competitions. Paul had a seven point gap on second place at the seasons end. His wins during the year included winning Mrs Pauline Mulcahy’s Presidents prize. Paul also represented Cahir Park on teams in 2022. Well done Paul.
